Hotel Santa Maria Rome, Rome

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! The rooms are just lovely, set around attractive inner courtyards with trees and outside tables. The staff really went above and beyond to help us, especially when we were in a pinch with our airport transfer. The only minor downsides were the slightly hard bed and the lack of complete privacy in one of the rooms despite the beautiful garden view.

The hotel had lovely rooms with little shuttered windows, clean, comfy beds, and a kettle for making coffee & tea. The outside patio with orange trees was charming, though lacked privacy and natural light. The service was welcoming, extremely professional, and helpful. The location allowed easy access to all the main attractions in Rome and Vatican City. The dining experience was delicious, especially with the artful Cappuccino. Overall, a clean, charming hotel with excellent service and a central location.
